The 24,000-sf Hallie E. Ford Center for Healthy Children and Families is part of OSU’s College of Health and Human Sciences in OSU’s historic district. Mayer/Reed’s site design helps integrate the new building into the established campus. A gracious porch extends outward from a multi-use lobby providing indoor-outdoor event options. Outdoor seating alcoves provide places for study and small gatherings. The perimeter landscape features native and drought tolerant plants and preserves stately historic elm trees. A rain garden treats stormwater from the roof and paved areas of the site.
